POSITION SUMMARY :
Inspect and provide oversight on scheduled and unscheduled repairs on clothes washers and dryers, industrial kitchen appliances and facilities such as pre-
engineered humidity controlled metal storage buildings which have air and water tight roll up doors.The inspector will be required to oversee maintenance on hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic security barriers.
The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limitedto, ensuring compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the following functions : security barrierelectrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mechanical systems and electronic control stations.
The incumbent addresses customer facility maintenance concerns in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.Uses provided Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to correctly input data related to maintenance work orders, preventative maintenance inspections, and or emergency / urgent customer requests.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :
1.Inspect repairs on clothes washers / dryers andindustrial kitchen appliances, assists technicians as needed
2.Inspect facility repairs as needed using a variety of hand tools and test equipment.
3.Ensures proper operation of compressed air equipment by completing inspections on the preventative maintenance requirements.
4.Provides technical / operational guidance to ensure compliance with the PWS while delivering desired results
5.Oversees the preventive and corrective maintenance programs
6.Inspects and tests facility components for proper operation IAW manufacturer’s specifications
7.Inspectspneumaticand hydraulic systems for wear, leaks and / or proper fluid level IAW manufacturer’s specifications
8.Provides reports on maintenance, safety and quality issues
9.Performs other duties as assigned
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED :
1.Microsoft Office software for producing written documents
2.Hand and power tools required to perform facility maintenance
3.Working knowledge of computer maintenance management systems
4.Knowledge of electrician’s tools and electronic test equipment
WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Work is generally conducted on-site at maintenance and project locations in out-of-doors areas with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.
Work may require lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.
Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas.Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices.
Must comply with OSHA, EPA, and Fire Regulations and published company work rules.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES :
Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, extended sitting or standing, or other physical efforts that are normally required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
1.Master (5) years of experience with license from the United States or Journeyman (10) level, preferably in a mechanical maintenance field or equivalent experience
2.EPA Certification Preferred
3.Industry and trade certifications are required, military experience preferred
4.Specific training in the operation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred
1.Minimum of ten (10) years continuous experience performing installation or mechanical maintenance on electrical systems at the Electromechanical inspector’s level
2.Five (5) years of experience planning, laying out, and installing electrical distribution in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
3.Working knowledge of electrical systems including secondary distribution and interior systems
4.Hands-on experience with electrical circuits, power cables, controls, and motors
5.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals to include blue prints and technical drawings.
6.Must possess strong knowledge in a skilled trade (electrical, pneumatic systems,automatic doors, air compressor, etc.)
7.Knowledge of U.S. Army Safety Guidelines and OSHA Standards
1.Requires ability to analyze the operation of various infrastructure systems, determine the cause of malfunctions, and take corrective actions as required.
2.Technical experience servicing automated doors highly preferred.
3.Prior experience in the Electrical, Automotive, or HVAC field highly preferred
4.Must have expert knowledge of equipment manuals for servicing, operating and repairing electrical systems.
5.Must be an expert in corrective actions performed by maintenance teams.
6.Must have the ability to troubleshoot service and repair electrical systems.
7.Must be proficient in all phases of paperwork as it pertains to servicing, maintenance, repairs, classification, etc.
8.Must have expert knowledge of equipment operations as it is critical to providing a quality inspection program.
9.Must be capable of giving and receiving instructions during the course of normal duties.
10.Must be capable of working independently with little-or-no guidance.
11.Must be willing to adapt to rapidly-changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
12.Proficiency with MAXIMO and / or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
SUPERVISORY / BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES :
Will have direct oversight of junior technicians and subcontracted personnel when they are on site
