KuwaitAirways (KU : IATA, KAC : ICAO) is the official national carrier of the State ofKuwait. Establishedin 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent owned bythe Kuwaiti government.
In 1962, the government assumed 100 per cent ownership,making it the longest serving, official state carrier operating from theArabian Gulf Region.

Kuwait Airways is recruiting forthe role of Assistant Researcher,Cargo Sales & Marketing. Your tasks will include but not be limited to : 1.
Basic Function and Scope : Assistsin various cargo sales KU / outstations activities. Includes, assisting inpreparing data for plans and amendments thereto, coordinating marketingsurveys, analyzing and compiling data, preparing cargo sales forecasts,monitoring and analyzing sales revenue, (e.
g. by station, route, region, marketshare, etc.). 2. Tasks and Duties :
Utilises personalcomputer and various software, such as Lotus, Symphony, Microsoft Word, tomaintain data and prepare reports, plans, etc.
Assists in analyzing and interpreting information andmay write various narrative portions of plans as directed.
May participates in surveysor may personally conduct small surveys as assigned.
Monitors actual sales reports during the plan period, evaluates actualrevenue compared to target sales, and assists in preparing plan revisions asdirected.
Also monitors revenue (results) against plan / forecastestimates and reports to Manager accordingly.
3. Work Contacts : Regularcontacts in Marketing & Sales, Operations, Finance, Information TechnologyDepartments and Outstations, to approximately the same level, when researchingdata or coordinating work activities.
Has less frequent contacts with outsideorganizations such as government personnel, agents, general agents andairline / industry staff.
4. Independence of Operation : Worksaccording to established procedures and cargo sales standards and techniques.Is expected to conduct thorough research and to carry out accurate and completeeconomic studies to ensure that correct data and information are provided forincorporation in market plans and forecasts.
Supervisor keeps advised of workprogress and reviews completed work.
