Job Description :

Kuwait Airways (KU : IATA, KAC : ICAO) is the official national carrier of the State of Kuwait. Established in 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent owned by the Kuwaiti government.

In 1962, the government assumed 100 per cent ownership, making it the longest serving, official state carrier operating from the Arabian Gulf Region.

Kuwait Airways employs over 6,000 people, and the head office is in the heart of Kuwait City, close to Kuwait International Airport (KWI).

Kuwait Airways is recruiting for the role of ( ) . In this role, your tasks will include but not be limited to :

  • Ensures that the Sales and Marketing team understand the overall objectives of the KU Holidays Office and their specific roles in achieving them.
  • Organizes, motivates and monitors the Sales and Marketing team to ensure that KU Holidays achieves maximum market share and exposure with the travel trade and the general public.
  • Designs and implements an efficient Sales & marketing reporting structure to gather, prune and communicate all market information that will / can impact the KU Holidays Sales & marketing strategies.
  • Analyses, filters and utilizes data gathered to tailor and / or extend the KU Holidays product range and / or service delivery to meet customer needs, exploit market opportunities and respond to competitor activities, without compromising the overall objectives and profitability of KU Holidays.
  • Requirement :

  • University degree in Business management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • 12 years' experience as an airline and / or travel agency staff of which at least the last three years in Sales / Marketing responsibilities.
  • Skills :

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic languages.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic languages as the job holder is expected to read, understand and explain the KU Holidays product information in the system and also is expected to communicate in writing with suppliers clients and travel trade.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excell and KAC Corporate contact management software is essential.
