  • Under the general guidance of the Audio Visual Manager, the Audio Visual Technical Lead will be responsible for ensuring the deployment and maintenance of the audio, video and event lighting systems;
  • audio / video system design, installation and programming. This position will be the primary point of contact (POC) for all user generated support issues regarding the AV section.

    MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES : 1.Manages the technical, operational, and administrative responsibilities of Audio Visual, CATV, CCTV, and IDS tasks / projects.

    2.Responsible for the direction, performance, and appraisals of the personnel assigned to the Audio Visual, CATV, and CCTV sections.

    3.Performs all project management functions for all AV, CATV, CCTV, and IDS undertakings.4.Serves as first-line approving authority for all Bill of Materials related to Audio Visual projects.

    5.Forecast and manages AV, CATV, CCTV, and IDS work schedules for all assigned resources. 6.Provide audio video design, installation, and programming services to Area Support Group Kuwait (ASG-KU).

    7.Provide maintenance for installed audio video systems belonging to ASG-KU, and or facilities assigned by ASG-KU.8.Provide live event services for ceremonies, concerts and other live events to include : digital audio system setup and operation, live video system setup and operation, event lighting system setup and operation.

    9.Maintain the ability to deploy two event audio systems simultaneously.10.Maintain the schedule for all events and installations, and de-conflict any scheduling problems if needed.

    11.Performs other duties as required.

  • WORKING ENVIRONMENT : Work is generally conducted in doors; however work may be require out-doors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions, specifically desert heat.

    PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES : Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

    Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire and Safety Regulations and published company work rules.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Education / Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain and maintain a valid Secret Clearance.
  • Must meet requirements outlined in AR 25-2 for NIPRNET access
  • Must be capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must have customer service training.
  • Must be to obtain a Kuwait driver’s license with a heavy vehicle endorsement.
  • At a minimum must possess a High School Diploma.
  • Infocom CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification.
  • AMX, ACE-D, ACE-I and ACE-P preferred.
  • Extron AV Associate certification preferred.Experience :
  • Two (2) years of customer service experience.
  • Two (2) years Leadership experience.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in live event production with a specialty in one of the three major disciplines : Audio, Video or Lighting.
  • The ideal candidate will also have 2-4 years of experience in audio / visual system design, installation or programming, with knowledge and practical experience in Cisco VTC equipment and software.
