HII Technical Solutions Division. (HII-TSD) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
HII TSD is currently seeking a to support USSOCOM onsite at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Provides analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability.
Prepares assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information.
Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following) :
Provide training and technical support to users and are experts in all facets of the SOCOM Enterprise Analytical platform to include Palantir and IBM I2 Analyst Notebook.
Support SOF users of operational and intelligence platforms including : Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS)-SOF
Fusion Analysis and Development Effort / Multi-Intelligence Spatial-Temporal (FADE / MIST)
Esri, and other Advanced Analytic Software (AAS)
Mission Command System / Common Operational Picture (COP) applications as they are fielded, both in garrison and forward deployed.
Deliver user support for operational and intelligence applications, enhancements, data services, data integrations and migrations, testing, documentation, data management, and maintenance for software systems that are server, cloud and / or mobile based.
Applicant will be required to travel throughout the CENTCOM and EUCOM regions and various CONUS locations. Travel will be reimbursed in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
Provide expertise on the policy, plans, procedures, actions, and milestones necessary for efficient planning, development, and execution of Combatant Command operations
5-8 Years with Bachelors or 3-6 Years with Masters or 0-3 Years with PhD or JD or HS diploma + 9-12 years of relevant experience.
Must possess and maintain a TS / SCI clearance.
Minimum of 5 years' experience with communicating intelligence and operations details to senior leaders.
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing FSEs and teams without direct supervision authority.
Experience fusing intelligence capabilities in support of operations Technical background with working knowledge of HTML, Ruby, Python and / or Java Knowledge of hardware, networks, and server administration.
Minimum 5 years' of progressive experience in technical support position and Operational or Intelligence Community (IC) operations, platforms, functions, and terminology experience.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in implementing and training software systems / updates, standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
Strong communication skills with the ability to break down, explain, and demonstrate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team within a SOF environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills needed. SOCOM Enterprise Analytical platform as well as the IBM I2 Analyst Notebook software platform.
Must have an instruction background and be proficient with teaching the required POI.
Applicant must possess operational experience, working knowledge of joint operation staff functions, and be familiar with joint operations
Applicant must have experience assigned to or working at the CCMD headquarters level
Must have the ability to work independently in formulating detailed, long-range plans, develop information and decision papers, and brief senior leaders in areas of subject matter expertise
Must have recent deployed experience to Iraq and or Afghanistan operating as a FSR-FSE or as an Intelligence analyst, Operations & Intelligence Integrator, or in a 18F
Capable SIGINT Operators with. Strong technical background.
Strong communication skills with an ability to explain and demonstrate complex concepts in an easily understood manner.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team within a matrix organizational structure.
Flexible and have the ability to operate within diverse environments with varying organizational cultures
Former SOCOM Enterprise Analytical Platform FSR-FSE or Poweruser, or a minimum of 6 years of related SOCOM Enterprise Analytical Platform experience supporting SOF.
At least 5 years at the active duty O4, or above, level preferred
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
