III) , Passenger Sales & Reservation KuwaitAirways (KU : IATA, KAC : ICAO) is the official national carrier of the State ofKuwait.

Establishedin 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent owned bythe Kuwaiti government. In 1962, the government assumed 100 per cent ownership,making it the longest serving, official state carrier operating from theArabian Gulf Region.

Kuwait Airwaysemploys over 4,800 people, and the head office is in the heart of Kuwait City,close to Kuwait International Airport (KWI).

Kuwait Airways is recruiting forthe role of Instructor (III) ,Passenger Sales & Reservation. Your tasks will include but not be limited to : 1.

Basic Function and Scope : Preparesnew courses and instructs KU and GSA employees in Passenger Tariff, Reservationand Sales procedures and services.

Practice excellence in teaching andinstruction. Demonstrate evidence of professional growth and keep abreast withcurrent academic level.

Carry out the responsibilities specific to his / herarea, department and / or program. Contribute to the commercial training sectionby participating in activities for growth and development.

Keep the coursematerial updated and reviewed. 2.Tasks and Duties :

  • Prepares, updates and maintainstraining courses for employees involved in Passenger Reservation and Ticketingand Customer services as per the standards and procedures meeting KAC and IATArequirement.
  • To prepare complete course syllabi and utilize standard methods ofevaluation listed in course outlines or other materials approved by thedepartment.

    Constantly strive to improve instruction through self-analysis.

  • Observation and study of newinstructional techniques for lecture. Follow approved policies and proceduresin the conduct of all instructional activities.
  • Conducts all level of courses forstaff involved in Passenger Reservation, Ticketing and Customer services atKuwait and out stations.
  • Liaises and coordinate with other departments.

  • Continual revision and updating ofcourse content and materials of instruction. Begin class on time in an orderly,organized fashion.
  • Be courteous to and approachable by students. Use effectivemotivation to help stimulate a personal desire to learn the subject / skill(s).

  • Carries out other similar or relatedduties, such as preparing statistical reports, follow up on trainees'performance, and the proper maintenance of their records.
  • 3.Work Contacts : Continuouscontact with employees up to section level to instruct and guide on Cargotariff, handling and reservation activities.

    4.Independence of Operation : Worksaccording to specialized teaching standards and policies, devising trainingmethods from experience guided by professional techniques.

    Completedassignments are subject to review and approval by supervisor. 5.Physical Effort : Moderateeffort associated with walking, standing and operating training equipment for60% of the work time.

    Requirement :

    a.Completion of Secondary (12 years) or university level education preferable.Holding certificates in Passenger Tariff, Reservation.

    b. 5 years' experience in Passenger Sales andReservation

    Skills :

  • Possess good communication skills and very good in English language, both speaking and writing.
