TheProduction Control Clerk is responsible for preparing records and reports ofconsumption of material and miscellaneous consumables, quality control andother aspects of parts and material warehouse management for the Vehicle Maintenancedepartment.
The Production Control Clerk must be capable of working independentin lieu of specific instructions to accomplish mission and enforce theimportance of safety at all times.
Reports to the Multi-purpose VehicleMechanic Supervisor and Materiel Control Supervisor. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :
Supports the Multi-purpose Vehicle MechanicSupervisor and Materiel Control Supervisor with management of the parts andmaterial warehouse for vehicle maintenance.
Provide all supplies for all aspects of theprogram.
Responsible for inventory verification and materialcontrol, accounting, reporting, packing and transportation, when required.
Operates and manages minor stand-alone PC-basedsoftware / systems such as MAXIMO, STAMIS, and SARSS1 or like programs.
Performs other administrative tasks as determinedby Site or Alternate Site Manager.
Provides appropriate technical assistance andresponses or refer calls to other individuals as necessary.
Ensures work areas are kept in a safe, clean,sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutterand trash.
Provides a team environment and promote goodworking relationships with all team members and customers.
Responsible for precise execution of company timereporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
Performsother duties as assigned.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENTDIRECTLY USED : Workstation with computer,software, and printer for access to inventory control system and database.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT : Workingenvironment will change between environmentally controlled office and storageactivities exposed to outside environment.
Overtime and shift workmay be required depending on contractual needs. Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations andpublished Company work rules as well as written instructions.
Task specificwork environment training will be provided as required . Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to supportU.
S. interests. 100% Overseas Assignment in Japan. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES : Physical requirements may include lifting up to50lb, climbing, extended sitting, and standing, stooping, stretching or bending.
Maybe required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE-ex : gas mask, steel-toedshoes, gloves, safety glasses, etc.) as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required.
High school diploma required. Associate degreepreferred.
Must havea current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. Driver’s License
Must have a valid U. S. SECRET or Interim Secret SecurityClearance prior to deployment.
Mustbe able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
Mustbe able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements thatinclude psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
Candidates must successfully complete both onlineand hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defensetraining.
Training includes the successful fit testing of DoD providedprotective gear.
Twoyears of experience in inventory control activities and associated softwareapplication experience, preferably in vehicle maintenance operations.
Musthave a solid background in automated data systems and automated data system input.
Excellentunderstanding of safety directives and policies.
Must have good computer skills and experience withMicrosoft programs such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Musthave good customer service and analytical skills.
Ableand willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements
Military experience in acontingency environment and knowledge and experience working with governmentcontracts preferred.
OtherClearance Level required at Start Date : Secret
