Supervisesand leads a team in receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and disposing ofGovernment Furnished and Contractor Acquired Materiel.
Coordinates and supervises monthly 10% cyclicinventory, receipt and break down of customer material. Update MAXIMOtransactions and verify accuracy of records.
Supervise between1-10 staff. Prepare and submit reports to the MaterielManagement Supervisor providing detailed information on routine and specialreports.
Provide support to Program Management identifying problematic areasand resolutions. Smart Card should have the ability to obtain one.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :
Supervise a team to accomplish provided tasks tostandard.
Count, sort incoming material to verify receipt ofitems on requisition or invoices.
Update material records in Maximo
Validate Purchase Requests, MILSTRIP Requisitions,Clothing Issues, and Cost accounts.
Runs daily reports in MAXIMO and evaluates thestockage level and stock on hand to determine actions required.
Ensures locations are properly marked, matched andrecorded in MAXIMO.
Identify and catalog all material on hand or onorder for adequate store.
Supervises the transportation of supplies to otherdepartments, using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck as required.
Responsible for Physical Security of material underhis / her control that are stored in accordance with the FAR and local policy.
IdentifyExcess material in stock and request disposition accordingly.
Ensurematerial is being maintained appropriately and identify for dispositionmaterial with an expired shelf life.
Prepare,read and analyze records and reports necessary to execute actionsroutinely.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED :
Personal computer, printers, network equipment and othergeneral office equipment. Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to include manualand self powered lifts.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Workis generally conducted in an office environment. However, duties also involvegoing into an out-of-doors area with a potential exposure to extreme climaticconditions.
Work will on occasion involve stooping; prolonged standing, andprolonged sitting.Working in a militaryenvironment brings the potential for exposure to physical, chemical orbiological agents.
Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) isrequired in certain areas, but not on a daily basis. Such PPE includes but isnot limited to head, foot, hand, torso, vision and hearing protective devices.
Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published Company work rules
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES :
Individual should be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required.
Capableof effectively communicating technical information in English, both written andverbal.
3 yearsof experience in Materiel / Property Management.
1 yearsupervisory experience at the team level or higher
Functional,comprehensive working knowledge of the Federal Acquisitions and Regulations forMateriel / Property Management
Workingknowledge of supply room operations and inventory management is required.
Use of MILSTRIP Automation, or similar systems
Materiel Handling Equipment (Fork Lift Operation,Pallet Jack, Hand Truck)
Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advancedExcel skills
Ability to deliver training on his / her area ofexpertise to the lowest level
Strong analytical skills
WMS experience with Maximo, SAP, Oracle or similarsystems
Customer service training
Operations, Supply Chain&LogisticsClearance Level required at Start Date : No Clearance Required
