Working closely with colleagues across the Marketing teams and other departments to proactively develops content and presents it in an engaging way across our existing and future digital channels.
Playing a key role in delivering vibrant and engaging content for the University website. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for developing and implementing the overall website content strategy based on KCST specific goals and objectives.
Creating high-quality and engaging website content. Planning, developing and implementing the overall company's website content strategy.
Manage and maintain web environment design, arrangement and development activities taking into account functionality, appearance, content, and performance.
Manage website infrastructure by setting up a web host, configure access for users, establish news and mail servers, and seamlessly connect databases and other back-
end components. Responsible for familiarizing clients with the website and making sure it functions smoothly. Researching, sourcing, writing& editing interesting content to be published for members &readers.
Develop content plans to ensure an excellent online user journey through the creation of copy, and use of video and photography Evaluate website performance by checking metrics such as loading time and memory consumption.
Going beyond the technical aspects, they also assess user feedback, effectiveness, and traffic, even exploring marketing techniques such as newsletters and SEO to draw more users into the website.
Track, compile, and analyse web site usage data. Document application and web site changes or change procedures. Document installation or configuration procedures to allow maintenance and repetition.
Recommend web site improvements, and develop budgets to support recommendations. Develop and document style guidelines for web site content and procedures for ongoing web site revision Test backup or recovery plans regularly and resolve any problems.
Implement updates, upgrades, and patches in a timely manner to limit loss of service. Identify, standardize, and communicate levels of access and security.
Inform web site users of problems, problem resolutions or application changes and updates. Provide training or technical assistance in web site implementation or use.
Perform user testing or usage analyses to determine web sites' effectiveness or usability. Develop and implement marketing plans for home pages, including print advertising or advertisement rotation.
Check and analyse operating system or application log files regularly to verify proper system performance. Evaluate testing routines or procedures for adequacy, sufficiency, and effectiveness.
