TheStructural Systems Technician is responsible for the operation, inspection, maintenanceand repair of structural components in pre-engineered, permanent,semi-permanent and temporary facilities to include tension fabric shelters,trailer offices, lodging and water closets, metal ladders, stairs, railings,and structures for air conditioning units for all facilities as listed in theperformance work statement.
The qualified candidate will work with a team of maintenanceand repair personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and successful projectcompletion. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :

Welder / metalworker services shall providefabrication, repair, and installation of metal parts and assemblies for utilitysystems and buildings.
Welder / metalworker services shall provide inspection, maintenance,repair, and installation of overhead and rollup doors.
Shall conduct semi-annual roof inspections andrepair IAW 32-1051 on all roofs for facilities as identified in the PWS. Repairs may include patching, sealing,caulking or other weather proofing techniques.
Complete required reports or documentation relatedto work.
Keep all work areas clean, orderly and in a safemanner.
Shall comply with all Vectrus, OSHA, and UnitedStates Air Force (USAF) health, safety, and environmental rules, laws, codes,guidelines, criteria, and standards.
Responsible for proper utilization and safeguardingof all government and contractor property provided for use.
Complete training in compliance with Vectrus, OSHAand United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.
Responsible for precise execution of company timereporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
Performsother duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, andmission requirements.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT : Work will be indoors and outdoors. Exposure toheat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur. Overtime and shift work may berequired depending on contractual needs.
Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations andpublished Company work rules as well as written instructions.
Task specificwork environment training will be provided as required . Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to supportU.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required.
High school diploma or equivalent
Must certification, degree or equivalent inconstruction and welding.
Must havea current, valid U. S. Passport .
Musthave and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and able todrive with a manual transmission.
Must have an international driver’s license andcapability of obtaining an Air Force flight line driver’s license.
Mustbe able to pass a flight line access test and obtain flight line access badge.
Mustbe able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements thatinclude psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
Candidates must successfully complete both onlineand hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defensetraining.
Training includes the successful fit testing of DoD providedprotective gear.
Aminimum of four years of carpentry / welding experience and be capable ofinterpreting, and following blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
Must be proficient with Microsoft programs such asProject, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Detailoriented with strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Ableand willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements
Military experience in a contingency environmentand knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.
OtherClearance Level required at Start Date : Secret
