Responsible for the management,support, and welfare of personnel assigned to the Audio-Visual Department.Provides management, organization, andexecution of the Information Management Department policies, procedures, goals,objectives and quality initiatives.
Will be required to develop andimplement training,plans, WI’s, IOPs,and perform personnel reviews. Other duties may be required as directed by theAudio-Visual Manager, Operations Manager and / or the Information ManagementDirector.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :
1.Supervisesthe technical, operational, and administrative responsibilities of the AudioVisual Department. (35%)
2.Responsiblefor the direction, performance, and appraisals of the personnel assigned to theAudio Visual Department. (10%)
3.DevelopsWork Cost Estimates / Statements of Work / Project Plans for Department relatedprojects. (10%)
4.Interfaceswith designated government representatives and / or other contractor elements toassure smooth operations and compliance with government directives, standards,and needs. (10%)
5.Developand manage Internal Operating Procedures to assure Department compliance withcontractual requirements and commitments. (5%)
6.Developand manage department policies and procedures to maintain compliance with VectrusQuality Objectives. (5%)
7.Developpolicies and procedures to improve maintenance, testing techniques, andoperational characteristics of the department to improve work operations. (5%)
8.Assuresall aspects of personnel management, as directed by the Information ManagementDirectorate, are complied with. (5%)
9.Interfaceswith the applicable Kuwaiti Ministries to assure the communicationsrequirements, pertinent to the responsibilities defined in the PWS, meet withthe contracting authority’s expectations. (5%)
10.Manages supplyaccountability, within the Audio Visual Department, through reviews andvalidation of hand receipts, assigned to the Department, in compliance with USArmy regulations. (5%)
11.Performs otherduties as required. (5%)
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENTDIRECTLY USED :
Personal computer, laptops, scanners, printers, faxes, othernetwork equipment and other general office equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Work is generally conducted in anoffice environment. However, duties may involve working in the out of doorswith a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions, specifically desertheat.
Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required incertain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso,respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
Must comply with OSHA,EPA, Fire and Safety Regulations and published company work rules.Must be able to lift / push / pull 40 lbs.
Working environment will be 90% indoor, 10% outside. The outside workenvironment will also be very hot due to conditions within the region.
Standing, sitting, squatting and other normaloffice related physical activities required.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES :
May be required to lift, climb, extendedsitting or standing, or other physical efforts that are normally required. Inaddition, visual acuity, hearing and speaking requirements are required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certifications : One-year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required.
Bachelor’sdegree in information technology or business-related discipline or acombination of equivalent education and / or on-the-job experience
Formaltraining in basic electronics repair desired
Certificationfrom professional audio visual organizations and / or AV / networking equipment providershighly desired
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must meet requirements outlined in AR 25-2 forNIPRNET access
Must be able to obtain a Kuwait driver’s license
Must maintain a valid Secret clearance
Must have Customer service, DOD InformationAssurance Awareness and Cross Domain Violation Training
Minimum2 years’ experience managing military and / or civilian Information Technology infrastructuresto include engineering, project management, deployment, and maintenance ofcomplex voice, data, visual and radio communications infrastructures.
Knowledgeof basic communications and electronicstheory; satellite, wireless and data communications; and CATV / broadbandcommunications basics
Knowledgeablein US and InternationalTelecommunication and Networking practices and procedures; to include, but notbe exclusive of, EIA / TIA, International Standards Organization (ISO), andBuilding Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI).
Working knowledge of Video Teleconferencingequipment (Tandberg), Portable SIPR and NIPR VTC equipment (DLP and LCDprojectors etc.
Sat Link, Spectrum Analyzer, Giant Voice and Audio Visualsoftware / hardware is preferred.
Customerservice background and Management experience required.

Must possess an advanced level of computer skillsin the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Managesan area of up to 20 employees with up to 3 direct reports.
