  • Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns.
  • Greet customers in a courteous manner.
  • Assign jobs and work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge.
  • Prepare & review all repair work orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Direct and assist in the diagnosis of machine problems of technicians and apprentices and provide instruction as required.
  • Assist in the appraisal of repair work coming into the Service Department.
  • Advise Service Manager of all customer complaints.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all technicians.
  • Coordinate the scope of services for repair and maintenance with the customer and obtain their approval.
  • Prepare repair orders and ensure that they are completed on time.
  • Explain and handover the workshop order to the Maintenance Technician or Certified Diagnosis Technician.
  • Check the need for and availability of external work and, where necessary, book external work.
  • Coordinate pickup time and date, method and location with the customer
