An is responsible for ensuring positive cash flow throughout the hotel through preparing bills and invoices and collecting overdue accounts.

What will I be doing?

As an Accounts Officer in Accounts Receivable, you will be as a critical member of the hotel Finance Team by performing the following tasks to the highest standard :

Prepare daily receivables from event contracts, post in system and balance totals to general ledger

Responsible for handling all questions and concerns related to City ledger charges

Conduct thorough research to develop the most effective solution and negotiate results

Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems

Review all final statements with sales contracts for accuracy. Make the necessary corrections and mail to the customer every 3 to 5 business days

Assist credit department in resolving outstanding balances by gathering the appropriate backup needed.

File and store City Ledger information on a regular basis (i.e., daily, weekly, monthly)

Assist office in any other administrative duties as needed

Perform any duties and responsibilities asked by Director or Assistant Director of Finance based upon department needs.

Accounts Officer (Accounts Receivable) serving Hilton Brand hotels and vacations are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.

Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft

Previous experience with minimum of 5 years supervisory experience, 2 years of which must be in the capacity of Chief Accountant position in a multinational large hotel.

GCC experience is a plus

Good working knowledge of Hospitality accounting systems

Business English language skills

Rigorous commitment to accuracy and details

Have good analytical skills, and organizational ability.

Strong knowledge & ability to train individuals in Hotel Back Office System, Finance Network, Excel (Advanced Macros) and MS Word.

Handle special project assignments as requested by the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
