Kuwait Airways (KU : IATA, KAC : ICAO) is the official national carrier of the State of Kuwait. Established in 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent owned by the Kuwaiti government.

In 1962, the government assumed 100 per cent ownership, making it the longest serving, official state carrier operating from the Arabian Gulf Region.

Kuwait Airways employs over 4,800 people, and the head office is in the heart of Kuwait City, close to Kuwait International Airport (KWI).

Kuwait Airways is recruiting for the role of Assistant Director Network Planning & Evaluation . Your tasks will include but not be limited to :

  • Supervises the Network Planning activities of assigned personnel in the Network Planning Department. Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by Management for the position.
  • Directs and coordinates the planning of the next two season’s schedule. Includes taking into account customers’ schedule performance as researched and supplied by the field, the constraints due to resources departments, i.
  • e. Engineering, Operations, Ground Handling, etc., route profitability goals of KAC, the fleet and route development plans of the airline.

    Studies, recommends and oversees implementation of changes to schedules whether resulting from unforeseen constraints or new opportunities, within long term and operational time frame.

  • Involved in establishing and agreeing revenue targets for the sales organization with field sales management to meet requirements of the business plans.
  • Includes establishing and directing maintenance of tactical sales pricing parameters, monitoring and reporting on achievement, and recommending correction action where necessary.

    Requirement :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration of Science, Economics or Marketing.
  • 12 years' experience in commercial airline marketing, planning and revenue producing operations.
  • Skills :

  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office
