JOB DESCRIPTION

a) Provision of support services to all components of real time data drilling solutions.

b) Install, configure and integrate software releases

c) Log, troubleshoot and resolve software technical related issues.

d) Ensure that all components of the real time data drilling solutions are functioning.

f) Supervision of field support services

g) Verification of newly installed equipment for predetermined functionality and conducting acceptance test when required.

h) Preparation periodic project status reports depicting usage of the center, software, reporting any installation, testing or maintenance jobs.

i) Preparation of quick reference documents for distribution to concerned RTOC end users.

j) Liaison with Information Technology Teams’ personnel to set up and configure hardware and software and resolve any related problems.

l) Assisting users in data transfer between applications.

m) Provision of technical and managerial knowledge, advice, assistance and on-job-training and support services and facilitate technology usage in areas of expertise.

n) Report raising real-time data gaps arising due to incidents taking place and cover the same.

QUALIFICATIONS

a) University degree in Computer Engineering / Science

  • b) Minimum six (6) years of experience in general E&P industry experience and out of which four (4) years’ experience in operating real-time drilling decision centers;
  • c) Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • d) Experienced in Microsoft, UNIX and LINUX operating systems and projection system.

    e) Experienced in the latest technology of Real-Time Drilling Decision Center Software (Preform view and Interact), hardware and equipment.

    f) Experience of three (3) years or more in handling Real time centers infrastructure.

    g) Experience of three (3) years or more in handling data gaps in Real time operations.

    h) Effective communication skills.

    i) Fluent in English verbal and written.
