Logistics Coordinator, MCT Air Operations Provide movement control support for the surface & Air movement of cargo and personnel through the U.
S. Military Transportation System. Responsible for receiving, validating, and processing, all Transportation Movement Requests (TMR), Joint Movement Requests (JMRs) & Air Movement Requests (AMRs) for the personnel and equipment transiting, originating, terminating, and assigned MCT Area of responsibility.
Candidate must possess working knowledge of Movement Automation Query Systems such as GTN, GDSS, GATES, ITV, etc. Able to communicate effectively with military personnel, understand military flight information and local policies.
Must understand DOD movements terminology and be able to troubleshoot problems. Position responsibilities also encompass administrative duties in support of the entire Airfield Terminal Operations.
Ability to read and understand Air Load Plans. Able to work in a high stress atmosphere and make passenger related decisions.
Able to make decision on priority list based on outlined instructions. Must perform other job related tasks as duties and mission dictates.
This might involve the possibility of suffering harm by dangerous forces or friendly fire. These dangers are inherent to working conditions in a dangerous environment.
