The general purposes of the job of a is to direct, control and arrange all staff, within the direct span of control plus the Assistant Bar Manager, ensuring customer requirements are satisfied.
He or she has to assume overall responsibility for the running of the bar and additionally it is the duty of the Bar Manager to maintain an open and accurate channel of communication within the whole team.
When the staff does not work effectively it is the Bar Manager’s task to implement new efficient work methods and structures.
The Bar Manager has to cooperate with other departments like the kitchen, the sales department, stewarding, personnel and the banquet department.
