The role of the agent is to deliver the customer experience of feeling trust, cared for and pleased in all interactions with customers and intermediaries that come to the Maersk Line and interactions involving counter staff.

The Agent is also expected to guide both external and internal customers on the modalities of our business.

  • Key responsibilities

  • The role of the agent is to deliver the customer experience of feeling trust, cared for and pleased in all interactions with customers and intermediaries that come to the Maersk Line and interactions involving Customer Service staff.
  • The Agent will handle all incoming and outgoing calls related to the day to day enquiries of the business in Customer Service.
  • In all aspects of the position to identify and bring forward opportunities for improvement of the customer experience and Maersk Line efficiencies and processes.
  • At all times adhere to company procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • The Agent is also expected to guide both external and internal customers on the modalities of our business.
  • The purpose of Agent is to manage the customer relationship for the accounts and to give customers the feeling that they can trust us, that they are cared for and to make them feel pleased in their interactions with Maersk.
  • The Agent would be responsible for the overall business development, customer satisfaction, for each assigned accounts.
  • The Agent would require to be the single point of contact for on-boarding all customers and would handhold them for the first few shipments in line with Onboarding guidelines, until customers are comfortable dealing with Maersk.
  • The Agent will in addition to accounts manage other walk in customers.
  • We are looking for

  • Experience with Customer Service and business process functions.
  • Graduate in any stream
  • Proficiency of customs manifest submission and web system where applicable
  • Ability to think laterally and close issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
