The Airframe Technicians are responsible for the following :

  • Perform and install S-92 subsystem assemblies such as the engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls, and their components
  • Perform aircraft servicing and lubrication, pre-flight, through-flight, and post-flight inspections
  • Prepare the helicopters for inspections and maintenance checks as well as perform the actual scheduled inspections or assist with special inspections
  • Use and maintain all ground support equipment including special tools used for diagnostics and troubleshooting in aircraft systems
  • Ensure that all maintenance records and forms are complete and take part in the maintenance test flights
  • Maintains the highest ethical personal and professional standards.
  • Other projects and initiatives as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Airframe Technician, has a varying degree of experience with minimal qualifications. Must have at least 7 years of total aviation experience and 2 years of experience specifically dedicated to helicopters.

    Experience on S92 preferred or similar airframe.This position requires an AS from an approved aviation school or the military equivalent with specific experience at the U.

    S. military skill level equivalent. *4790 experience preferred.

  • Must be a US. Citizen and provide proof of citizenship
  • Must be able to obtain a US Passport prior to start date and maintain the passport while on contract
  • Must hold a Valid drivers license
  • Must be able to meet requirements for, obtain and maintain a Kuwait Work VISA
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a public trust position (if required for the position).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (if required for the position).
  • Must be able to work weekends, other shifts and overtime as required.
