Roles and Responsibilities

As a marketing associate, the role of the candidate is to support most of the marketing activities within KPMG. These activities can be broadly categorized under internal communications, leadership messages, digital promotion, marketing campaigns, social media promotions, email marketing, and events.

The detailed roles of the candidate is provided below

  • Writing content :
  • The candidate will be responsible for writing articles, reports, blogs, and various marketing related content as per the directions provided by the stake holders.

    The candidate should know basics of market research to formulate content.

  • Internal Communication :
  • The candidate would be responsible for handing the internal communication activities for the organization, which includes drafting and curating content for internal newsletter, internal announcements, and other internal communications.

  • Events Management : The candidate will be responsible to manage events along with the rest of event management team, which includes
  • 1. Be part of the event planning to decide on the flow of event and marketing activities around the event.

    2. Representing KPMG at various trade fairs, job fairs and corporate events.

    3. Manage the logistics for the event.

  • Website management : The candidate will be responsible for content management of the website. Will be coordinating with the IT team on regular updates for the content.
  • Take out reports on how website is performing and what all areas the website needs to be updated. This also includes addition of new pages post discussions with the stakeholders and delete pages, which are not of use.

    Knowledge management : The candidate will be responsible of maintaining a repository of the tasks marketing team is doing in form of an archive.

    This also include keeping an up to date repository of CV, Thought leadership, brochures, and credentials for KPMG

    Qualifications and Skills

    1. The candidate should be a graduate with marketing or business administration as area of study.

    2. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Bilingual is an added advantage

    3. Command over MS based application such as Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint

    Other creative skills such as photography, videos, sketching etc. will be highly credible for this role.

    Experience and Background

    1. 0-3 years of experience (including internship) in any marketing, business development, or relevant department.

    2. Knowledge of design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or any other Adobe application is a plus
