Reports to the Senior Retrograde Manager. Responsible for assistingdaily operations of the Retrograde Operations to include performing technicalsupply management work (e.
g., inventory management, storage management,cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supplyactivities.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :
Using a good working knowledge ofthe governing supply systems (GCSS-Army), programs, policies, nomenclature,work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines, and an understanding ofthe needs of the organization serviced, applies analytical ability to defineand take appropriate supply action based upon application or interpretation ofestablished guidelines.
Assists the Senior Retrograde Managerin planning and coordinating workloads to optimize use of resources to includepersonnel, equipment, tools and facilities.
Establishes programs to meetnormal and contingency mission requirements.
Prepares, analyzes and briefsreports as required. Recommends solutions to problems indicated by analysis oftrends, indicators, potential problems or those identified by management and / orthe government.
Ensures all required reports aresubmitted accurately and on time.
Monitor the Shelf Life and COSISprogram.
Provides management direction andoversight to include overseeing day to day retrograde operations. This mayinclude but not limited to storage, inventories, receiving, shipping andpreparation of all supporting documentation.
Works with and in conjunction withother departments to accomplish all required tasks.
Monitors and evaluates work performanceof the employees to ensure they are in compliance with the Performance WorkStatement (PWS) and all regulations pertaining to their assigned duties.
Ensures that employees are alwaysin compliance with established Safety Policies and Regulations.
Ensures safeguarding of all Armyproperty and equipment.
Implements Work PerformanceTraining when required.
Performs other duties andassignments as required.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED :
Personal computer, printer, faxmachine and other general office equipment and MHE.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Indoor and / or outdoorenvironment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty,desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and130 degrees in the summer months).
Includes some industrial productionenvironment conditions as well.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES :
Must be physically capable of lifting 40 pounds avertical distance of four feet and carrying
thisweight a horizontal distance of 25 feet.
May be required to work an uncommon scheduleincluding nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to work extended hours and evenings,as mission requires.
Must have professional appearance
Required to observe all safety, security, fire,environmental, and health requirements for Retrograde / Warehouse Operations andoutside environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years specialized experience in supplyoperations. Must have served in position of increased responsibilityencompassing program planning and supervisory experience.
Supply managementexperience is mandatory)
Minimum of 2 Years’ experience with MilitaryStandard Requisition and Issuing Procedures (MILSTRIP) or equivalent civilianprogram is required.
At least 3 Years working experience in GCSS Army isplus
Must have working knowledge of Retrograde / Warehouse Operations
Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and storagerequirements to meet compatibility of products based on hazard class isrequired.
Leadership and management skills, including aprofessional demeanor, are required.
Strong interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to exercise discretion and good judgementis required.
Ability to prioritized responsibilities to handle ademanding workload is required.
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyis required.
Advance ability to communicate in English, bothverbally and in written form is required.
High-level organizational and planning skills, sothat workflow is managed and accurate is required.
Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook andALL Microsoft applications is required.
Must be able to learn and operateARMY AIS systems
Clearance / License :
A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtaina U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and Kuwait Driver’s Licenseare required.
Must be able to maintain USG Network access &CAC card privilege(s).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secrete levelclearance
SUPERVISORY / BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsibleto manage hours of personnel including use of overtime for mission requirementsand to the best interest of Vectrus.
SupplyClearance Level required at Start Date : Secret
