KuwaitAirways (KU : IATA, KAC : ICAO) is the official national carrier of the State ofKuwait. Establishedin 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent owned bythe Kuwaiti government.
In 1962, the government assumed 100 per cent ownership,making it the longest serving, official state carrier operating from theArabian Gulf Region.
Kuwait Airwaysemploys over 4,800 people, and the head office is in the heart of Kuwait City,close to Kuwait International Airport (KWI).
Kuwait Airways is recruiting forthe role of (III) ,English Language. Your tasks will include but not be limited to : 1. Basic Function and Scope : ConductsEnglish language courses to selected employees at various levels in accordancewith the department's requirements for them to obtain a certain level ofEnglish to carry out their jobs.
Prepares course materials, outlining thevarious language components in line with the specific technical, administrativeor mathematical English required and divides into language components.
Conductscourses using various audio-visual aids, books and manuals, prepares testpapers, marks and assesses the performance of the trainees and relative valueof the course. 2. Tasks and Duties :
Develops the syllabus concentrating on administrative, mathematical and technical English to suit the needs of the department and the individual employee.
Discusses with the Superintendent and submits material for approval.
Creates booklets and handouts illustrating various parts of language components in relation to the work tasks. Prepares a lesson summary, identifying which stage of the syllabus he has reached.
Also assists other instructors in taking over the course as required and monitoring training developments.
Ensures that the questions clearly evaluate the trainees' knowledge in a way that can identify strengths and weaknesses in language components.
Records results for all tests carried out, on the employee's record card, suitably cross-referenced so a statistical analysis of the complete training record in other areas can be made.
Takes records of class attendance, advising the Superintendent of high incidents of absenteeism. Completes individual reports on trainees and general reports on the progress of the course as required.
Coordinates such training with the instructor concerned to ensure that trainees fully understand course notes and text books.
