Caliburn is seeking a Load Team Member / Cargo Processor responsible for providing all necessary and required under-wing ground support services, organizing the warehouse and storage facilities, arranging the warehouse handling equipment and load / unload air cargo.
Maintain the required safety and quality standards as well as comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies.
Must be qualified to operate all vehicles required on the contract.
Shall be able to load, unload, and process cargo as required.
Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure
Deliver air cargo to cargo warehouse
Inspect ramp areas adjacent to gate and aircraft for debris and remove / dispose of when found.
Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor / manager
Load / unload air cargo from / to trucks and aircraft
Prepare and palletize cargo as needed
Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is accurate
Assure proper handling of cargo, delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment
Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations
Shall be able to communicate status of all runs using handheld radios and guidelines.
Shall abide to posted speed limits and local policies.
Shall be flight-line driving qualified.
Must be willing to work irregular shifts to support surge operations during inclement weather or deployment operations.
Other duties as assigned by management.
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver's license and passport
US citizen with ability to obtain US government clearance if required
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to work in inclement weather, austere locations, and other challenging environments
Excellent health and safety awareness
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Prior aviation experience is preferred
Ramp experience is preferred
Cargo experience is preferred
Clearance requirements are still being determined. If a clearance is required, persons employed for this position must be US citizens and qualified to obtain and / or maintain a personnel security clearance with the US government.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
After receipt of an employment offer letter, applicants must complete the standard form 86 and be granted an interim secret clearance by the US government before the deployment process can begin.
