Grand Hyatt Kuwait is lookingfor aentrepreneurial, dynamic and hardworking individual who enjoys leading, and supporting the purchasing function in a large conference and convention hotel.
This position requires hands on leadership and planning execution to ensure the procurement of total hotel supplies and materials, including vendor development and the administration of contracted services to drive the successful opening and positioning of the hotel.
The hotel will feature 302 luxury rooms and suites, four world class F&B venues and the largest conference and convention facilities in the city.
We are looking for candidates who have experience in a similar role in a 5 luxury hotel and display strong traits in the following areas :
A proven track record managing large and complex purchasing operations
Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in fast pace environments
An instinctive eye for detail and quality control
An inspirational, caring and engaging leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skill
A sound pre-opening experience in large hotel operations is advantageous
Good problem solving, multi-tasking and administrative skills are a must
