Responsiblefor performing operation, maintenance and repair of interior and exteriorelectrical systems in accordance with the performance work statement such asprimary and secondary distribution systems, HV switchgear, transformers andreceptacles, etc.
The qualified candidate will work with a team of OM&Rpersonnel to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project completion. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :
Shall install, inspect, maintain and repairservices, HV primary / secondary feeders and branch power circuits and equipmentin commercial and dwelling facilities to include electrical distributionsystems such as interior and exterior lighting circuits and equipment,receptacles, motors and motor control circuits.
Shall inspect, test and repair direct buried cablesas well as cables in underground ducts and conduits.
Shall inspect, operate, maintain, and repairelectrical distribution at voltages that range from 120v -11KV.
Shall be able to properly use technical orders,manufacturer’s handbooks, local procedures, codes and directives to installequipment and troubleshoots malfunctions.
Shall advise on, diagnose and repair electricalpower distribution and special purpose electrical systems installationmalfunctions.
Shall maintain records to document lightningprotection and grounding system inspections and perform pre-acceptanceinspections of electrical systems, document any findings and store for futurereference.
Ensures all work areas are kept clean, orderly andin a safe manner.
Responsible for proper utilization and safeguardingof all government property provided for contractor use (e.g., to includegovernment facilities, equipment and tools).
Completestraining in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA, and United States Air Force (USAF)requirements.
Responsiblefor precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accuratecompletion of timesheet.
Performsother duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certifications : One-year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required.
High school diploma or equivalent
Must hold a degree or certification in ElectricalEngineering.
Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport.
Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRETSecurity Clearance prior to deployment.
Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and able todrive with a manual transmission.
Must have an international driver’s license andcapability of obtaining an Air Force flight line driver’s license.
Mustbe able to communicate in English.
Mustbe able to pass a flight line access test and obtain flight line access badge.
Mustbe able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements thatinclude psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
Candidates must successfully complete both onlineand hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defensetraining.
Training includes the successful fit testing of DoD providedprotective gear.
Must have a minimum of five years of electrical / powerproduction experience and be capable of interpreting, and following blueprints,technical diagrams, and schematics.
Mustbe proficient with Microsoft programs such as Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Detailoriented with strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Ableand willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements
Militaryexperience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience workingwith government contracts preferred.
OtherClearance Level required at Start Date : Secret
