POSITION SUMMARY :
Individualwill work directly under the Supply Supervisor and perform day by dayoperations and all assigned task in support of the warehouse operationsResponsible to receive store, inventory, and issue expendable items products tovarious military customers.
Manage accountsand financial transactions to support supply operations in theater.A functional, comprehensive working knowledgeof the US Army Supply System, including both Wholesale and Retail Operations isa desired but not mandatory trait.
A working knowledge of warehouse operationsis required.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :
1.Count, sort incoming material to verify receipt ofitems on requisition or invoices.
2.Examine stock to verify quantity or conformance tospecifications. Store material in bins, on the floor, on shelves, or incontainers according to identifying information
3.Fill orders or issue supplies from stock. Prepareperiodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.
4.Compile reports on use of stock handling equipment,adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage, or shelf life tostock, location changes, and denial of shipments.
5.Prepares daily CDRL’s for Inventory, Receipts,Issues, and others as required by the Performance Work Statement.
6.Mark identifying codes, figures, or letters onarticles, using labeling equipment
7.Make adjustments to articles carried in stock. Maydetermine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, consideringtemperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loadingcapacities, and required space.
8.Move or transports material or supplies to otherdepartments, using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck.
9.Responsible for Physical Security of Sensitive andPilferable Items and ensure they are stored in accordance with all ArmyRegulations and local policy.
10.Maintaininventory and other stock records, using computer terminal. Designatedaccording to material, equipment, or product stored, i.
e. Retail or wholesaleitems.
11.Receive,store, and sort unserviceable equipment and supplies for disposal
12.Ensurethat all employees are always in compliance with all established SafetyPolicies and Regulations.
13.Willalways ensure safeguarding all Army Property and Equipment.
14.Performother administrative tasks as determined by the Supervisor or at the directionof the Supply Manager.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED :
Personal computer, printers, network equipment and othergeneral office equipment. Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to include manualand self powered lifts.
Computer skills includes a working knowledge ofMicrosoft Work, Excel and Outlook.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Workis generally conducted in a warehouse environment. However, duties also involvegoing into an out-of-doors area with a potential exposure to extreme climaticconditions.
Working in a military environment brings the potential for exposureto physical, chemical or biological agents. Employee use of Personal ProtectiveEquipment (PPE) is required in certain areas, but not on a daily basis.
SuchPPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, vision and hearingprotective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and publishedCompany work rules
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES :
Work will require lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, climbing,prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where apotential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required.
Highschool diploma or equivalent and well versed in warehousing and storageoperations.
Threeto Five (3-5) years’ military experience in warehousing and supply operationsdesired or comparable civilian experience.
Preferred2 years of GCSS-Army Experience

3.Must have standard computer skills(MS Work and Excel).
4.Must have knowledge in classifyingand specifying supplies.
5.Must be able to perform daily taskwith accuracy, speed, and precision.

7.Must be able to communicatefluently in English to communicate and interact with the customers, vendors,and managers on a daily basis.
