The apprenticeship lasts three years and might take place in hotels, pensions or restaurants. Fields of activities are multifunctional because a Hotel Management Trainee has to pass through all departments including kitchen, reception, restaurant, housekeeping, personnel, administration, banquet or marketing.
Working in a hotel requires flexibility and enthusiasm. Additionally people should be able to work under pressure an in a team.
Hotel Management Trainees have excellent job prospects in all departments of a hotel. After collecting some experience with a specific department of a hotel, they can strive for a department head or even a position in the hotel management.
