POSITION SUMMARY :

Assists in the operations of the ASG-KU Camp Housing and Billeting Offices with housing related services during normal duty hours and after duty hours to include conducting clearance inspections, issue Billets / PCB’s / BA’s / Trailers to PCS, TCS, TDY, and R&R Servicemembers, provide General Officer / Distinguished Visitor / Very Important Person Quarters support, oversees nightly updates of the MS EXCEL, or ACCESS Military Housing Database, prepare reports and forward to designated key and essential personnel by email, resolve customer concerns and monitor emergency service orders.

Coordinates daily with ASG-KU Protocol, Executive Service Bureau (ESB), COR, NCOIC and Housing Point of Contacts (POC’s) for incoming reservations, supervises the preparation and maintenance of GOQ’s, DVQ’s for General Officers and O-

6 / E-9 / CW5 / GS-15 VIP level Personnel. Maintains Unclassified Assignment lists and tracks reservations lists. Escorts Foreign National (FN) Personnel preparing or conducting maintenance services in the DVQ’s, or other Housing / Billeting areas.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :

1.Coordinate with the Civilian Personnel Office (CPO), ASG-KU Protocol, Joint Visitors Bureau (JVB), Executive Service Bureau (ESB), Department of Army Civilian (DAC) Off-

Post Housing, COR, NCOIC, Housing Point of Contacts (POC’S), ASG-KU Staff, Theater Gateway (TG) Staff, and other tenant units for arrivals and departures of PCS, TCS, TDY, and R&R personnel.

2.Utilize Common Access Card (CAC) to enter and perform inputs to the MS EXCEL or ACCESS Military Housing database.

3.Communicates via Military NIPR Enterprise Email with Housing POC’s, Sponsors, JVB, ESB, ASG-KU Housing OIC / NCOIC, to receive Billeting requests, Military Orders, and other unclassified information regarding reservations, assignments or terminations, and distribute to the appropriate sections for processing.

4.Prioritizes assignments IAW AR 420-1 and ASG-KU Camp local policies and procedures based on the availability of billets / furnishings.

5.Maintain records of the status of assigned and available billeting for each rank or grade of personnel for each housing area.

6.Conduct Daily / Weekly walk through inspections of Billets / PCB’s / BA’s / Trailers as required to verify occupancy, serviceability of furnishings, and facilities in order to assign available billeting to new occupants.

7.Conduct briefings to incoming or outgoing units and individuals as required on billeting procedures.

8.Assists in cleaning of DVQ and VIP rooms, and ensure rooms are maintained to a high quality standard / Arranges escorts for cleaning / maintenance personnel and maintains positive key control on all primary access keys for the DVQ facilities.

9.Assists in room preparation of vacant and reserved rooms, with light cleaning of rooms, furniture, appliances, latrines, floors, carpets, and common areas, and arrangement of furniture, as necessary to ensure readiness for incoming occupants.

10.Familiarizes self and subordinate staff with the procedures for issuing / receiving linen and room keys and assists with issuing in absence of Key Room staff and Furnishings staff.

11.Coordinates arrival and departures of DVQ personnel with the ESB, Housing Military Staff, Lead or Supervisor.

12.Conducts customer assessment survey with departing DVQ guests to provide feedback to the DPW and Protocol on strengths and weaknesses of the services provided.

13.Prepare dirty linen and towels for laundry service and pick up clean linen from Laundry point and maintain an adequate amount of linen, toiletries, water, and cleaning supplies on hand to meet the daily needs for room preparation.

14.Updates appropriate changes to the Billeting Locator List daily and posts reservations as required.

15.Develops, implements, refines, inspects policies, procedures, equipment and organizes office files IAW the Army Records Management Information System (ARIMS).

16.Submits Work Orders to DPW Work Order Desk 24hrs / 7 days a week as necessary and tracks status of open work orders submitted by Housing until completion.

17.Provides answers to residents / guests regarding DPW services, pest control, laundry facilities, waste collection, cable service, telephone service, fire safety and other housing-related queries.

18.Assists with, and prepares for inspections, and responds to Contracting Officer Representative (COR), and Quality Control requests, through the Housing Supervisor, and the Housing Branch Manager.

19.Insures staff compliance with the Housing Performance Work Statement (PWS), and the Vectrus KBOSSS Policies and Standard Practices (P&SP’s).

20.Follows and embraces a positive safety culture throughout the Housing operations.

21.Adjusts schedule as necessary (subject to swing shift) and cross train to assist other sections in the Housing Branch, or other Community Service Departments (CSD) when short staffed or when mission surge occurs.

22.Must be willing to work on holidays, short notices, all shifts, overtime and be assigned to any Housing location in Kuwait.

Vacation scheduling will also be dictated by mission requirements.

23.Performs other duties as assigned.

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED :

Computer, laptops, scanners, printers, other network equipment, other general office equipment, sedan, van, pick-up truck, or Polaris ATV.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT :

Work is generally conducted in an office or indoor environment. However, duties may occasionally involve working outside with a potential exposure to extreme temperatures.

Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES :

Work may require intermittent lifting up 25 lbs, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for physical exposure to extreme dust and temperature up to 130F degrees, chemical or biological agents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education / Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required.

1.High School diploma is required.

2.A valid driver's license and the ability to obtaina U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's license and Kuwait Driver’s License.

3.Must be able to obtain Common Access Card (CAC).

Experience :

1.Approximately 2 years of hotel / military housing or housing rental experience with atleast 1 year of reservation / scheduling experience.

Must have 2 years ofcustomer service experience.

Skills :

  • Must also be fluent in spoken and written English.Must have a good command of military rank structure. Preferably familiar with related US Army regulation and pamphlets.
  • Must be proficient in intermediate level MS Office software applications such as Word, Excel, Access and Power point.
  • Must be flexible and have demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, as outstanding customer service is paramount to the Housing / Billeting Operations.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
