You will be working as Senior Sales Specialist and will be a part of the Industrial Automation business for Energy Industries Business line based in Kuwait.
In this role you will be reporting to the Sales Manager. You will be handling overall responsibility to identify and cultivate defined customers.
You will be driving the sales process from identifying potentials to the final sales deal. You will be responsible to reach established sales targets through actively meeting and working with customers.
Ensuring that market information like monitoring of competitors, offerings to customers, price levels are updated and documented in written form in the provided systems locally and globally.
Ensuring the flow of information to Sales Manager about new entrants or other parameters influencing the market. Contributing to the identification and development of new or potential customers.
Acting as marketer or sales person of ABB’s services and solutions when appropriate, for instance at trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meeting.
Utilizing the available marketing material including price lists or other available information to identify leads.
Understanding the underlying needs of the customer and identifying new business opportunities, as well as growing the business with existing customers.
Providing electrification service offerings in order to facilitate the sales process with the customer. Extensive understanding about Kuwait main customers, understand the channel strategy and the establishment of prices related to this.
Visiting customers to build a lead and opportunity pipeline. Running negotiations with the customer and secure the business to the agreed margins, as well as ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Participating and contributing with the various risk assessments in order to ensure the proper balance between price and quality.
Registering required information into the appropriate customer database.
Monitoring sales proposals and tenders e.g. quantity, margin, product or system.

A Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
A minimum of 5 -10 years Sales experience with Kuwait Clients for Electrification business.
Required good knowledge in contract and risk management.
Required strong knowledge of Kuwait market, customer demand & plan for electrical business.
Required excellent knowledge of customer products, applications and processes.
Required good knowledge of electrical products / systems.
