Purpose of position
The PL Controller provides financial support to the Controller and Operations Managers in order to ensure that each significant business decision is given proper financial consideration.
This role could be product line focused or project oriented within a geographic location.
Key functions of the position :
Analyze and control Investment (Capex, Inventory and Projects, and DSO).
Review Profit & Loss and balance sheet accounts relating to area of responsibility.
Responsible for financial planning, forecasting and monitoring versus objectives.
Develop and evaluate business or project financial metrics and drivers.
Responsible for contract review, bid support, evaluation of risks and reward prospects.
Design and implement project controls.
Responsible for ad hoc reporting, analysis or projects as required.
Coordinate preparation and analytical review of management financial information relative to historical trends, forecasts, and developments within the industry.
