The Quality Supervisor is responsible for performance monitoring of all program functional areas, as well as, all program support functions with direction from the Quality Manager and Deputy Quality Manager.

The Supervisor will perform training for all new hires and perform evaluations of Quality Auditors and QS Publications personnel.

Responsibilities also include gathering and analyzing data and recommending courses of action to improve performance or resolve problems, and mentoring employees, supervisors and functional area management staff in quality management principles, theories, tools, and systems.

Ensures all Program comply with ISO 9001 : 2015 standards. This position will report to the Quality Manager or Deputy Quality Manager.


  • Build a robust corrective action system to answer CAR's effectively by :
  • Performing root cause research and analysis of process failures and contract nonconformities.
  • Assists process owners in the development and deployment of processes for the purpose of encouraging process improvement initiatives.
  • Assists operational areas in documenting processes, desk top guides, and in identifying and managing all quality records in accordance with all program requirements.
  • Assist auditors with the audit checklists specific to process being audited; develops detailed audit plan that extends to process and customers.
  • Monitors functional area internal inspection programs.
  • Conducts audits and investigations in functional or operational areas as assigned by the Quality Manager.
  • Assists in root cause analysis and development of corrective / preventive action plans; performs follow up audits to determine completeness and effectiveness of corrective / preventive actions.
  • Conducts special inspections with third party auditors and ACC.
  • Participate and facilitate, as required, in process improvement meetings.
  • Develops programs and procedures as requested by the Quality Manager to enhance operations.
  • Provides management reports relating to the quality program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Monitors QA final acceptance of Root Cause Analyst and implements changes to improve overall efficiency.
  • Oversee the efficient implementation of quality standards, programs and processes to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Develops, justifies and implements Program process improvements.
  • Provides leadership, mentoring and supervision of Quality personnel.
  • Evaluate employees through performance reviews, ongoing coaching and feedback methods.
  • Continuously improve performance based on the key performance indicators.
  • Analyzes and resolves, or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Train employees in Policies, Procedures and PWS ensuring training effectiveness of job skills.
  • Directs and advises personnel in 5 why procedures to analyze non conformances.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of new developments, technology and processes.

    Personal computer, printer, fax, and other general office equipment


    Work is generally conducted in an office environment, however, duties will involve working in the outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions, i.

    e. temperatures over 100 degrees for extended periods.


    Work will require lifting up to 25 lbs., stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and prolonged sitting. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas.

    Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire and Safety Regulations and published company work rules


    Education / Certifications : Two years related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Able to obtain ISO 9001 : 2015 Auditor certification.

    Experience :

    5 years quality experience required. 3 years leadership / management experience required. 2 years in contracting environment

    highly desirable. Successful candidate must also show evidence of knowledge and experience in Six Sigma methodologies, and

    developing, implementing and managing continuous improvement projects.

    Candidate must also be able to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and have excellent

    interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Experience : Certification as an ISO 9001 : 2015 Lead Auditor and Six Sigma Green Belt certification, or higher, are

    Skills :

    Strong organizational skills. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Office Tools. Ability to work with very diverse workforce.

    Excellent communicator both in writing and verbally. Expertise in writing SOP'S, Plans, Work Instructions, processes and Project Orders a plus.


    Provides leadership, mentoring and supervision of Quality Auditors and Document Control Coordinator.
