Job Summary

URS has a contingent opening for an Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Clerk Lead in Kuwait.

Essential Responsibilities :

Performs customer service for all GCSS-A related activities in accordance with the GCSS-A End User Manual (EUM).

Performs and edits according to internal quality control checks during the input of data from source documents.

When assigned a team; generates work flow, standard and GCSS-A reports as per PWS schedules and USG requirements.

Performs duties as the Shop Stock / The Army Maintenance Management System clerk

Generates GCSS-A reports as required.

Maintains the shop stock and turn-ins of unserviceable repair parts IAW GCSS-A EUM.

Processes data entry and transmits data to appropriate site.

Assists Supervisor in quality control edits by retrieving reports for the data collectors.

Organizes all completed source documents and attachments to filing site and / or OneSource uploading requirements.

Follows up on all weekly transaction reports, weekly form counts and prepares forms to be digitally sent.

Must perform edits based on FEDLOG codes and classes of supply as required.

Readiness activities include documentation, records management, reporting and record reconciliation.

Required to gain access to GCSS-A, IGC, FedMall, LIW and WEBVLIPs for parts and document research.

Provides logistical support to other operational and support elements as required.

Provides analysis, technical assistance, by researching repair part availability and expedition as required.

Provide training to other GCSS-A positions, as needed.

Generates picking tickets, DA Form 3161 or other accountability documentation.

Conducts and participates in scheduled, unscheduled inventories and surveys.

Reviews and validates document register reconciliations and submits daily supply activities.

Coordinates with supporting SSAs for requisitioning and turn in action.

Ensures strict compliance of safety practices and fully support current and future URS Safety Policies and Procedures.

Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.

Edits all supply transactions and posts into GCSS-Army, IAW EUM.

Duties may include turning-in repair parts IAW SOP / WI’s, entering data in GCSS-Army; tag and turn-in processing of parts.

Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the URS Quality Management System.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Must possess or be able to prove past USG GCSS-A external certification.

Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and / or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience.

Example : Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (1) years of college.

Minimum 3 years GCSS-A experience at the supervisory level. Possess experience and comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, and procedures.

Attention to detail in work flow and filing organization activities.

Knowledgeable of GCSS-A system reports, how to correct discrepancies, and MS Office programs.

The appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, working knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) , plans and working instructions.
