Job description : Inventory Controller coordinates inventory through watching consumption rates, sales forecasts and project demands to maintain levels required to meet distribution demands to fulfill retail business and project needs.
Duties and responsibilities : Centrally manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory (All HAC Business Countries).
Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks. Perform regular inventory analysis to check the movement of materials to classify it into slow, dead or fast moving items and : a.
Ensure adequate stock of fast moving items b. Bring the slow, dead moving items to notice of the management and recommend corrective actions.
Responsible for analyzing inventory and setting accurate reorder points in order to have proper stocks of materials. Coordinate with Operations dept.
to get the details in case of any claim and inform the Purchase dept. for negotiating with the supplier. Informing the sales about any new material (new or existing) received in HAC Warehouse.
Generate requests to suppliers to replace / replenish any received damaged material. Coordinate with Shipping Department to update for delivery status of the shipments and update the sales teams accordingly.
Generate monthly order point review reports, change the monthly rates and update ERP system (IFS). Generate stock order approval report for the items to be ordered in order to take management approval.
Create Purchase Requisitions (stock items) and release of purchase requisitions (special order items) Create Purchase Orders for approved stock orders & special orders and inform the Purchase Dept.
Create and update new item codes, item details and characteristics. Update of prices of materials in the system (IFS). Update new products / materials and the selling price to the sales team.
Provide required Technical information to Sales In coordination with Central Purchases. Assist and coordinate in effectively displaying new products in the showroom.
Assist in preparing the MIS reports related to Inventory. Skills : University degree in related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience within a reputable organization with major international suppliers.
Good command of English, Arabic language is a plus. Solid experience in using MS Office products and dealing with ERP systems.
