URS / AECOM has an immediate opening for a
Quality Auditor in Kuwait.
The Quality Auditor performs internal audits used to obtain process conformance and performance feedback. The Quality Auditor plays a vital role within the quality management system by obtaining and documenting information to be used by the management team during project review and analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Audit processes and monitor discrepancies until resolution.
Develop, review and report audit results.
Write process documentation (i.e. Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions)
Act as point of contact for action items related to audit discrepancies or other process related activities.
Assist personnel in the understanding and use of process improvement tools, architecture, and related assets.
Manage and report performance based metrics for the program.
Makes recommendations for corrective actions.
Provide guidance for ISO compliance (ISO 9001 : 2008).
Provide training and support to Internal Auditors.
Routine status reporting and staff leadership meeting attendance.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three (3) to five (5) years direct experience as an internal auditor on a program.
Demonstrated understanding of ISO 9001 Series Quality Standard.
Must be a U.S. citizen and have a current, valid U.S. passport.
Must have an active Secret clearance eligibility.
Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively during a 72 hour work week.
Must be able to lift 25 Lbs. continuously, 50 Lbs. intermittently.
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
Must be able to favorably complete customer and company background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications :
Lead ISO 9001 Auditor preferred.
Certified Quality Auditor (American Society of Quality) Certification preferred.
