    What

    You will be responsible work closely with the Group Chief Strategy, the Group functions and the Portfolio companies to develop, formulate and execute the corporate strategy, you will be a key role in the overall activities of the department including strategic planning, business developments, M&As and strategic & digital projects.

    You will also work closely with the Group CSO and the management team in supporting informed decision making, portfolio strategy, market intelligence, competitor analysis, new growth and business transformation.

    How?

  • You will be required to lead the corporate strategy process through its development, monitoring and execution
  • You will be required to conduct internal and external market analysis to deliver insights and identify competitive and strategic positioning across portfolio of companies, also Identify emerging areas of growth
  • You have to drive the definition of measurable strategic goals for the company and its portfolio companies and work with senior management and the portfolio companies to set the overall strategic direction and to design key initiatives including growth strategy and operational excellence
  • You are required to provide market insights through peers and competitors’ analysis and benchmarks
  • You are required to lead deep dives on strategic topics and strategy reviews and lead new operational efficiency levers within core and non-core
  • You must ensure proper communication of the corporate strategy and buy-in from different stakeholders and lead the development of new activities from greenfield / M&A till operations
  • You have to perform Portfolio management of existing activities and propose recommendations and Initiate and execute strategic partnerships to generate new revenue streams and complement existing capabilities
  • You are required to coach and support development of analysts and managers and other team members
  • What do I need

  • You are required to have MBA degree in business or a related discipline
  • You are required to have a minimum 12+ years’ experience with 8+ years consulting experience at a leading strategy consulting firm or the strategy and corporate development function within a major TMT group

  • You must have ability to lead groups at all levels through complex problems with confidence and clarity and experience in business strategy, business development, partnerships and transformation
  • You must have strategic vision and problem-solving skills
  • You must have strong financial acumen with the ability to translate business
  • You must be strategy / initiatives to operational plans and financial targets
  • You are required to have good execution skills and project management skills
  • You must have good interpersonal and communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • You must have ability to communicate with various levels of management
  • You must have attention to detail
  • You are required to work prioritization and time management skills
  • You must have ability to drill-down and perform root-cause analysis
  • You must have Team Player skills
  • You must have ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities, excellent command of both written and verbal English, Arabic would be a plus
